Addendum: apple butter is amazing on whole wheaty wheat bread with sharp cheddar cheese. It is also quite amazing with crunchy peanut butter. I have yet to swirl it around in my yogurt, but that's next. H, do you have any other apple butter suggestions? I am smitten.
